JJ also earned his bachelor’s degree in Acting and Directing from California State University Long Beach in 2008 and a Teaching Credential in Special Education from California State University Northridge in 2011. His diverse educational and professional background has shaped his perspective as a medical provider to consider not just the diagnosis, but the patient as a whole person.

JJ has experience in Urgent Care, Orthopedics, and Occupational Medicine.  His medical philosophy is to serve patients with excellent care, sensitivity, and above all else, compassion.  The most rewarding part of his practice is to have the opportunity to play a role in his patients’ treatment and recovery. He will do his best to guide you through the diagnostic process, help you to understand your own particular injury or condition, the treatment options available, and the rehabilitation involved to reach your goals. He works as a PA for Dr. Pourtaheri.

JJ enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his wife, daughter Esther and son Eli.  He also enjoys theatre, fishing, tennis, and traveling.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”60px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
