About Anna Coopersmith
Occupational Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist
Anna Coppersmith began her academic career as an honors graduate at Miami University of Ohio, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology. She later headed west to enroll in the occupational therapy graduate program at San Jose State University, receiving her master’s degree in 2002. Completing an internship in hand therapy at Stanford Hospital, she realized she had fallen in love with the specialty. She has been practicing in the field ever since, primarily in outpatient settings. She became credentialed as a certified hand therapist in 2014.
Prior to joining SRO, Anna worked in the outpatient hand therapy clinic at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, treating a wide range of upper extremity cases. Her biggest rewards come from seeing patients regain function and return to the daily activities that they love.
Anna lives in Petaluma with her husband, two children, a cat and two dogs. In her free time, she heads to the outdoors for hiking and biking.
