We are pleased to announce that the Physical Therapy team at Santa Rosa Orthopaedics has gained two valuable new team members; Hayden Block, DPT and Anna Coopersmith, OTRL, CHT. The SRO PT team are experienced and highly skilled physical therapists that have completed extensive post-graduate education in orthopaedics and sports rehabilitation, and they stay current on the most effective approaches to injury prevention and rehabilitation.

The SRO integrated care model allows patients to receive the best care through direct collaboration with your orthopaedic specialist. We offer hands-on care and personalized rehabilitation programs tailored to meet individual patient needs. Our therapy team specializes in sports medicine and post-operative rehabilitation for all levels of need. Our objective is to help you reach your goals.

Hayden joined the SRO PT department in September and he has Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Azusa Pacific University as well as a BS in Kinesiology specializing in Exercise Science.

Hayden has extensive experience in the outpatient setting with a focus on movement science incorporating dynamic neuromuscular stabilization techniques to improve patients overall movement patterns to decrease pain. Hayden also has experience in home health, the hospital in-patient setting and corporate wellness/fitness. Hayden started his career early as a personal trainer working with clients on fitness and health and moved into physical therapy thereafter striving to improve people’s overall well-being.

Hayden enjoys treating patients of all ages and incorporating proper movement into all activities to allow patients to move pain free. Hayden also enjoys working with athletes for return to sport to decrease injury risk.

About Anna Coopersmith

Anna is an honors graduate from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in Zoology. She received her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2002 from San Jose State. After completing an internship in hand therapy at Stanford Hospital, she fell in love with the specialty and has been practicing primarily in outpatient hand therapy since 2002. She became credentialed as a Certified Hand Therapist in 2014.

Prior to working at SRO, Anna worked for Santa Rosa Memorial hospital in their outpatient hand therapy clinic, working with a wide range of upper extremity cases. Anna enjoys the profession because she loves seeing people regain function and return to the daily activities that they love.


SRO’s Physical and Hand Therapy services are available at our Santa Rosa location and have also recently expanded to Petaluma (see locations). The physical therapy office in Petaluma is located next to the existing Santa Rosa Orthopedic Medical Group office at 169 Lynch Creek Rd. The Petaluma PT office is located back-to-back with the Petaluma Orthopaedic Office and is accessed via an adjacent parking lot.  Appointments are available by calling 707-546-1922.
