SRO welcomes Physician Assistant Sarah Swanson to the SRO PA team. Sarah will be working with Dr. Axelrad.
Sarah earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California in 2021, where she was honored with the program’s Academic Achievement Award for ranking at the top of her class. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in biopsychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Sarah is licensed by the State of California and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Her patient care philosophy is rooted in allowing patients to be in control of their own health while she does everything possible to provide them with the information they need to make informed choices about their care. She prides herself on creating a personalized treatment plan for each patient and then supporting them as needed to recover from their injury or illness and enjoy good health.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys everyday life with her fiancé and their dog Tyson, volunteering with shelter animals, dancing, skiing, playing tennis, trying new restaurants, and exploring the outdoors.
