About Michael Serrano
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
Michael Serrano has helped countless patients regain their function in both in-patient and out-patient rehab settings since joining SRO as a licensed physical therapy assistant in 2005. After earning his associates degree from the Western Institute of Science and Health in 1999, he began his career by helping to start a satellite physical therapy office for Healdsburg District Hospital. He later gained additional health care industry experience working as a Medicare coordinator and occupational health coordinator for HealthSouth of Santa Rosa
Michael greatly enjoys the challenges and rewards of helping his patients resume the activities they love. His fluency in Spanish assists SRO greatly in helping to treat the Spanish-speaking community.
As a husband and father, Michael spends the bulk of his free time with his wife and sons, exploring the outdoors and playing music and sports.
